House Highlights
The Bedroom
In a simple, no nonsense layout, this bedroom offers a queen size bed with a utilitarian head board and large closet that does double duty for extra storage. Just one more thing about this room .... there's no door (by design). |
The Living Area
Naturally the most spacious area of this house, it offers a nice area for the usual family life activities and includes some interesting ocean nik knacks.
Room highlights include two futons, oriental decor "coffee" table that goes with the two rocking chairs, 19" TV with DVD player and VCR (and some movies), Health Rider exercise machine, stereo system, books for the ladies, board games, dart game. |
The Dining Area
It's simple, kid friendly and has some Sea hawk memorabilia decor. Go Sea Hawks! |
The Kitchen
Older luxury retreats (summer homes) were often set up to maximize space while placing a greater emphasis on enjoying the great outdoors as your destination. So by comparison this home has a smaller kitchen than the average family home of today, but all the modern convenes are still there. |
Hot Tub with a View Anyone?
So who doesn't like to relax to beautiful views of the bay. Not to mention if the view is clear enough, the Olympic Mountain Range can be see towards the left side of this view. |
Right Out Side
Watch Your Step
In "grassy" area behind the house lay the remains of old weathered trees that used to live there. Over time, erosion caused by the ebb & flow of the tides have carved and polished these stumps into some pretty unique forms (ghostly reminders of constant change), but they aren't the only surprise here.
If you are not careful then you can find one of the many "ditches", holes or pools carved out by the same erosion process. So be careful of where you step. |
